This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in the mobile app Findfolk (“the App”). Please read it before using the App.
Findfolk helps people form small groups around a shared task, with group chat, daily check-ins, and a cycle that ends. It is not a dating app and does not provide one-to-one matching.

1. Account. To join or host a room you sign in with email, Google, or Sign in with Apple. We store your email address (when provided), display name, timezone, and language preference so your rooms work across devices.
2. Rooms, messages, and check-ins. Room titles, rules, member lists, chat messages, photos you send in a room or as a group cover, and daily check-ins are stored on Findfolk’s server so groups can continue when you switch devices.
3. Reports and blocks. If you report a problem or block another user, we store that report or block so we can act on it and hide that person’s messages from you.
4. Analytics. The App sends anonymous usage events (for example, app open, screen viewed, join, check-in) through our server to our analytics service. Events use a random identifier stored on your device, not your name or email. We use this to understand how the App is used and to improve it. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising profiles.
The App does not access your contacts, location, microphone, or camera except through the photo picker you open yourself.
Members of a room can see that room’s messages, photos, check-ins, and display names. We do not publish your rooms to the public web except when someone opens an invite link you share. Sign-out stops this device from loading your account. Delete account removes your profile and memberships from our server.
Account and room data stay on our server until you delete your account or we remove a room that has ended and is no longer needed. You can sign out at any time. Delete account in the App removes your profile and memberships. Uninstalling the App does not by itself delete your server account.

Findfolk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the App changes. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest revision.
