We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how the app handles data related to you. Core principle: all data stays on your device.
The app only uses the camera while you are scanning. The image is processed locally on your device to recognize QR codes and is never recorded or uploaded to any server.
Records you scan or generate are stored only in the local database on this device and are never synced or uploaded to the cloud. You can delete single or all records at any time on the history page.
The app writes an image to your gallery only when you tap “Save QR code to gallery”. “Scan from gallery” reads only the single image you choose and never scans your entire gallery.
The app does not collect any personally identifiable information, contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not track your usage.
The app writes a recognized result to the clipboard only when you enable “Auto-copy to clipboard” or tap “Copy” manually, so you can paste it into other apps.
All data is stored on this device. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
When you submit feedback through the app, the content you enter along with your app version, device model and language is sent to our feedback provider (Formspree) so we can review and respond. No other data is transmitted, and nothing is sent unless you actively tap “Submit feedback”.
